Why We May Decline Certain Alterations
Fabric Limitations and Structural Integrity: Certain fabrics, like silk or sequins, are challenging to alter without risking damage. If a garment has minimal seam allowance or delicate material, we may advise against alterations to maintain its quality.
Design or Construction Challenges: Garments with asymmetrical designs, complex patterns, or delicate materials may require extensive work or risk compromising their structure. If an alteration might not meet our quality standards, we may recommend against it.
Fit and Proportion Issues: Significant adjustments to fit or proportions—such as altering the silhouette or shoulder width—can impact the garment’s design. If an alteration risks altering the intended look, we may advise against it to ensure the best outcome.
Note: We prioritize quality and encourage clients to discuss potential challenges with our tailor to find suitable solutions.
